Across Aotearoa, the housing system no longer serves the people it was meant to protect. Essential workers, retirees, and young families are priced out of the communities they call home. Town centres lose their heartbeat. Too many neighbourhoods are shaped by financial pressures rather than human needs.
ORA was created out of a belief that we can do better — that homes and neighbourhoods can once again be places where life thrives. Our purpose is simple: to regenerate the relationship between people and place. By rethinking how land is held, how developments are financed, and who benefits from investment, we work with communities to build neighbourhoods that remain affordable, connected, and vibrant for the long term.
